About this list

This is a record of Indonesian researchers in computer vision, and of their work at the field's leading conferences and journals. Every researcher listed here has been checked by hand.

Who is listed

A researcher is listed when there is good reason to say they are Indonesian: they studied in Indonesia, were born there or hold Indonesian citizenship, or say publicly that they have Indonesian heritage. Having worked in Indonesia is not enough on its own. Many people come from the curated lists previously kept by the indonesia-vision-ai community.

They also need to have led at least one computer vision paper, as first author or as last (senior) author, at CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, AAAI, IJCAI, WACV or BMVC, or in TPAMI, IJCV, TIP, Pattern Recognition or CVIU.

The focus is computer vision. Papers at CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, WACV, BMVC, IJCV and CVIU count as vision papers. NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, AAAI, IJCAI, TPAMI, TIP and Pattern Recognition cover wider areas, so a paper there counts when its title and abstract show it works with visual data: images, video, 3D, medical or remote-sensing imaging, or vision and language. Once someone qualifies, all their papers at these venues are counted, including work outside vision. If you are listed and feel this does not describe your work, you can ask to be removed.

Where the data comes from

Publications come from DBLP, the computer science bibliography, and from the conference websites for papers DBLP has not indexed yet. Committee roles such as reviewer and area chair come from the program committee pages and printed program guides of each conference. Many older conference sites are no longer online, so roles a researcher lists on their own page are also shown, marked with †, when no official list covers that conference and year. Counts only include the venues above.

Updates

The list is refreshed about once a month, after DBLP publishes its monthly data.

Corrections and removal

If something about you is wrong, or you would rather not be listed, send the form below. Removal requests are honoured without question, and you will not be added again. You can also suggest someone who is missing.
